The normal use of coupling can improve work efficiency, so what problems should we pay attention to when we use it? Now follow the coupling knitting to learn about it.
(1) The coupling shall not allow deflection and radial displacement beyond the prescribed axis line, so as to avoid affecting its transmission performance.
(2) Bolts should not be loosened or defective.
(3) Gear couplings and cross slider couplings should be lubricated regularly. Generally, grease should be added once every 2-3 months to avoid severe wear and tear of gear teeth, resulting in serious consequences.
(4) The contact length of gear coupling tooth width should not be less than 70%, and its axial displacement should not be greater than 5 mm.
Cracks are not allowed in the coupling. If there are cracks, they need to be replaced (hammer can be used to knock, according to sound judgment).
_The key of the coupling should be closely matched and not loosened.
_The tooth thickness of the gear coupling is worn out. When the hoisting mechanism exceeds 15% of the original tooth thickness, the running mechanism should be scrapped when it exceeds 25%, and the broken teeth should also be scrapped.
_Elastic rings of pin coupling and sealing rings of gear coupling should be replaced in time if they are damaged and aged.
Installation error of coupling should be strictly controlled, and it is usually required that the installation error should not exceed 1/2 of the allowable compensation.
Attention should be paid to check the alignment of the two axes connected by the Institute after operation, and the relative displacement should not be greater than the allowable compensation. Reducing the relative displacement as much as possible can effectively prolong the service life of the connected machinery or coupling.
For couplings with lubrication requirements, such as teeth couplings, oil quantity, quality and sealing condition of lubricating oil should be checked regularly and replaced when necessary.
For couplings on high-speed rotating machinery, dynamic balance tests are usually carried out and assembled according to markings. The weight difference between the connecting bolts is strictly limited and can not be replaced arbitrarily.
