For some special cases and occasions, the interference fit specified in the design manual or commonly used can be separated and adjusted appropriately according to the use occasion.

1. The occasion where spare parts are consumed quickly and need to be replaced frequently

In some special industries, spare parts are consumed quickly in special occasions and need to be disassembled and replaced frequently. These axle extensions can be matched by H7/N6, H7/GB, etc.

2. Low Speed, Heavy Load, No Coupling Centering

Some places are low speed and heavy load, but the impact and vibration are relatively small. Coupling is only used to transfer torque, without its fixed center position. Clearance fit can be used for CL coupling. It not only does not affect the use, but also brings convenience to the maintenance and repair of equipment.

3. The occasion where flexible handover can be used despite impact and vibration.

For some occasions where the torque is small, impact and vibration are serious, but flexible handles can be used, clearance fit can also be used. At this time, the vibration and impact between the axle extension and the coupling can be eliminated by the elastic device in the middle. If it needs to be disassembled, it is not necessary to make a big move.

In a word, all the coupling that transfers torque by key can adopt transition or clearance fit as long as it does not affect the use, which will bring great convenience to the maintenance and installation of equipment.

Choice of fit between inner hole and shaft center of coupling:

The manufacture of coupling is the most professional in our factory. In the process of overhaul or installation of mechanical equipment, it is often encountered that the coupling holes are too tight with the shaft center. It is often difficult to disassemble the coupling or impossible to disassemble it at all. For some kinds of problems, our method is to reduce the basic deviation of axle extension with various coupling, so as to reduce the waste of manpower and material resources in the maintenance of mechanical equipment.

According to the "Mechanical Design Manual", we have the following provisions on the coupling hole and shaft coordination:

Diameter d/mm: 6-30, > 30-50, > 50

Cooperative codes: H7/J6, H7/K6, H7/M8

Note: 1. It is advisable to use H7/R6 or H7/N6 for heavy load, positive and negative inversion, impact and vibration.

2. When H7/R6 or H7/M6 is selected to match the coupling hole with the motor or reducer shaft, the hole is machined according to the configuration deviation.

According to the above stipulations, the coupling hole with shaft of d > 50mm should be H7/M6. Heavy load, impact and vibration should be H7/R6, and the cooperation encountered in actual overhaul is also true. For example, the matching of coupling hole and roller shaft between reducer and roller is H7/R6, which belongs to interference fit. In the process of using, the rollers are subjected to high temperature baking, wear and spray cooling, and will be replaced in less time. At this time, the outer gear sleeve of the coupling, which could be removed and continued to be used, had to be replaced with the rollers because of its tight coordination. Since the coupling is supplied in a complete set, even if only one part of the coupling assembly is used, the whole set of costs will be required. In this way, the cost of spare parts is particularly high. The shaft deviation of the coupling will be changed from R6 to G6, and the interference fit will be changed to clearance fit. This will not affect the use of the coupling, but also reduce and reduce the maintenance cost of the equipment.
